Willowick Towers, located at 1111 Hermann Drive in the heart of the Museum District, and a stone-throw away from the ZaZa Hotel, is probably my favourite luxury high-rise residential condominium in all of Houston. With an unbeatable location, and a big-city flare, the elegance of this property is second to none.
At 30 stories, and one of the highest residential buildings in Houston, the two towers are connected by five bridges, and the lobbies that connect them are stunners in their decor. Amenities for residentes include a three-tiered fountain, putting green, copper-roofed gazebos, a Tennis court (with a Basketball ring) and a jogging trail. Unlike many Houston buildings, the BB-Q grills are actually appealing, well-located and functional.
Warwick Towers offers 24/7 concierge service including valet parking, porter, dry-cleaning pickup, exercise room, sauna, formal Board Room and an informal Terrace Room with kitchens. Beware: all of this comes with a price, HOA fees can go all the way up to $0.90/SqFt.
All things taken, I would recommend this property to those seeking "the best of the best" in a low-key, traditional and very elegant high-rise.
